Hi, I’m Sarah, watercolor artist and nature lover. I believe that painting can be more than just art — it can be self-care, a way to slow down, and a way to heal. Here at Watercolor Sanctuary, you’ll find simple tutorials, nature-inspired projects, and creative practices designed to bring joy and peace into your life.
By definition, a sanctuary is a place of refuge or safety. This is not a place for perfectionism or competition. This is a no judgement space where you can feel free and let your emotions go with the flow of the water.
Trying to stay grounded in such a fast paced world can be stressful. The importance of slowing down to take care of ourselves should not be swept aside. My hope is that you find relaxation, peace and tranquility when you come to this space.
This is your creative retreat. Here, there’s no pressure to be perfect—just space to explore, play, and let watercolor bring you a little more peace. Whether you’ve never held a brush or you’re picking it up after years away, you belong here.
